XuHuaiRenJia徐淮人家 is a small Chinese(XuZhou) restaurant with No fancy decorations, No menu, and No rice??

Huh? That's right! Not fancy, no menu, and no Rice for a Chinese restaurant. Drinks: Beer or more Beer 

LegoAuntie invited LegoLady and LegoMommy to have a lunch date near her office at her lunch hours, and she introduced this amazing restaurant to the ladies.  

Simply look at the dishes presented the varieties of ingredients involved with the spices and colors.

How can anyone resists to dig in and enjoy these tasty authentic XuZhou cuisine in a busy city like Taipei.

LegoLady deciced to write about the visit and let everyone out there to pay a visit and give XuHuaiRenJia徐淮人家 a try since LegoLady is pretty certian that just about everyone would enjoy the food this small restaurant has to offer. 

涼拌皮蛋Cold Mix Preserved Egg Salad:

Sliced preserved eggs served with mix of green pepper, red pepper, bell pepper, garlic, green onion, cucumber, parley topped with special hot and sour sauce. 

Tasty, refreshing and can be served as an appetizer.

地鍋雞Stone Pan Chicken Broth:

Chicken cooked with white radishes, Chinese cabbages and topped with dumpling skins(dough)spread out on top of the soup. 

地鍋雞Stone Pan Chicken Broth is one of the top signature dishes from徐淮人家XuHuaiRenJia.

醋溜土豆絲Vinegar Pan-Fry Shredded Potato:

Shredded potatoes are mixed with vinegar and some dry hot pepper, the acidity control with just the right amount of vinegar added the flavor of the curnchy shredded potatoes.

LegoLady's favorite dish during this first visit.

Chicken Claws/ Feet Stewed With Pork Spareribs:

For those people who is willing to try out the distinct texture of marinated chicken claws/feet cooked with pork spareribs, this plate offers stronger flavor as compared to the other ones, but it's a healthy pick and I would say LegoGrandma's favorite item among all.

How to get here: 

Walking distant in between SongJian Nanjing Station Exit#4 or ZhongXiao XinSheng Station exit#4.

Tips: Noodles are the substitude of Rice in XuHuaiRenJia徐淮人家, and there's no soft drinks or juice from the drink selection. It's water, hot tea, or beer. One is welcome to bring his or her own drink from 7-11 or else where.

FYI: Since this restaurant has no menu, the dishes usually depend on how big is the party, what kind of meat they enjoy, and whether or not the party eats spicy food. The owners are extremely nice and often come to check up to see if everything around the table is going well, and see if there's any additional needs.

Every once a while LegoLady misses the Chinese food from Australia, and this will for sure become the to go place the next time it happens..
