Missy LegoLady went on a date the other night to the famous tourist attraction- Yongkang Street in Daan District(大安區的永康街).

LegoLady's date LegoBuddy wanted to go for Japanese cuisine, and 築地市場 happened to be right infront of them at the time, so they gave it a shot.

築地市場 is an ideal spot to grab some light dinner over a drink or two and go for dessert afterwards in the busy Yongkang Street.

LegoLady loved the top qualities of the ingredients and its super nice services.

According to Wikipedia: 

“永康街是位於台灣台北市大安區信義路二段上的著名美食街，介於金山南路與新生南路之間，因巷弄之間有許多著名餐館或小吃而聞名。

招待毛豆Edamame is on the house, and free food is always a plus =D...

山藥鮪魚丼Yam Otoro Don top the ordered items for the night and was LegoLady's favorite. It is so delicious and flavorful that it is highly recommanded for everyone to enjoy. The very fresh Otoro melt in the mouth and the Yam matches up the Otoro perfectly. It also comes with a miso soup with some salmon. Although the potion of the bowl is rather small, but the quality of the food is definitely worth the order.

明太子烤洋芋Roasted Sliced Potato with Spicy Cod Roe is pure delightful. Look!! so many bloggers agreed upon the statement:

1. MRT Dongmen station exit#5

2. All the buses along XinYi Road will lead to Yongkang Street.

3. For those who drive, Daan Park is nearby (walking distant 10 mins), and the public underground parking is $20/hour (Mon-Fri) $30/hour (Sat,Sun)

Tips: Yongkang Street is famous for its selection of snack stands,cuisines, coffee shops, book stores, boutiques, and parks. The small Yongkang Park in the heart of Yongkang Street and the well known Daan Park are both popular destinations before or after visiting Yongkang Street since people usually need a good walk after having so much food. It's just Irresistible.
